GlassFlow, a Berlin, Germany-based startup enabling data teams to build event-driven data pipelines in Python, raised $4.8M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Upfront Ventures, with participation from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Robin Capital, TinyVC, the CEO of Weaviate and operators at Fivetran, dbt Labs and Redis.

The company intends to use the funds to continue expanding its platform’s capabilities, including enabling data transformations like stateful functions, chaining, data lineage and giving users the flexibility to host it on their own cloud infrastructure.

Led by CEO Armend Avdijaj, GlassFlow is a startup enabling Python developers to build event-driven data pipelines. The platform features built-in connectors, managed infrastructure, and a serverless transformation engine to execute Python functions. By simplifying the creation of end-to-end pipelines, it supports AI applications, real-time processing infra, and IoT use cases.
