iAsk, a Chicago, IL-based provider of an AI “Answer Engine” built for Gen Z, raised $4.2M in seed funding.

The round was led by Corazon Capital, with participation from Chingona Ventures, Starting Line VC, Alumni Ventures, Listen VC, Motivate VC, Octava Singapore, Chicago Early Growth Ventures, and multiple prominent angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Dominik Mazur, iAsk is an advanced, free AI search engine that enables users to ask questions in natural language and receive instant, accurate answers. It receives up to 1.5 million searches per day, with interest coming from Gen Z users seeking accurate answers to their questions. Since the company’s launch, it has processed 350 million searches on the platform and is on pace to exceed half a billion searches by the end of 2024.

Finally, iAsk soft-launched its API for businesses and developers, which already has a waitlist of over 7,000 potential customers.
