Keep, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of an open-source platform that manages alert management and automation, raised $2.7M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by Runa Capital, Firestreak, and the founders of Elastic, PagerDuty, Sentry, NGINX, and Epsagon, with participation from Y Combinator, alongside angel investors, including Shay Baron (CTO and Founder of Elastic, $11B+ market cap), Andrew Miklas (ex-CTO and Co-Founder of PagerDuty, $2B+ market cap), David Cramer (CTO and Co-Founder of Sentry, $3B+ valuation), Maxim Konovalov (ex-CTO and Founder of NGINX—acquired by F5 for $700M), and Nizam Shapira (ex-CEO and Founder of Epsagon—acquired by Cisco for $500M) and Jan Oberhauser (Founder and CEO of n8n).
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate AI research and development to provide enterprise customers with the production-ready, open-source-based, AIOps platform and scale rapidly.
Founded in 2023 by Tal Borenstein and Shahar Glazner who participated in Y Combinator during 2023, joined by another Israeli Co-Founder, Matvey Kukuy, former Director of Engineering of open source unicorn Grafana and the leader of Grafana On-Call (formerly known as Amixr, acquired by Grafana), Keep offers an open-source platform that develops an intelligence layer on top of observability data for enterprises dealing with thousands of daily alerts, which integrates with existing observability tools, and provides alert correlation services based on their proprietary AI models.
Since its open-source launch in 2023, the platform has gained traction with more than 3,000 stars on GitHub, 400 community members, and 60 contributors.
