Logpoint Acquires Muninn

-

Logpoint

Logpoint, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based SIEM vendor, acquired Muninn, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based cybersecurity company.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The acquisition will enhance Logpoint’s security information and event management (SIEM)-based cyber defense platform with Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven network detection and response (NDR). The combined offering improves visibility and Threat Detection, Investigation, and Response (TDIR), increasing the chances for organisations and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to safely navigate the complex threat landscape. Gartner reports that organisations integrating SIEM, NDR, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) respond to incidents faster. Muninn’s NDR solution will augment Logpoint’s Cyber Defense Platform with comprehensive network visibility, enhance TDIR, and enable customers to prevent cyberattacks in real time. In addition, Logpoint solutions integrate with other cybersecurity products, allowing customers to bring their own EDR to achieve complete visibility across environments.

Led by CEO and Founder Andreas Wehowsky, Muninn delivers cybersecurity solutions that help organisations safeguard their most valuable digital assets and infrastructures from evolving cyber threats. Leveraging advanced AI-driven technologies, its solutions, AI Detect and AI Prevent, offer real-time network detection and response capabilities that enable businesses to proactively identify and mitigate cyber risks. Customers benefit from enhanced visibility into their networks, faster threat detection, and a defense against both known and unknown cybercriminal tactics, minimizing potential damage and ensuring operational resilience.

Led by CEO Mikkel Drucker, Logpoint helps organisations and partners protect against cyber attacks and streamline security operations by combining sophisticated technology and a profound understanding of customer challenges. Its cyber defense platform based on SIEM, automation, case management, and behavior analytics technologies empowers European organisations to achieve security outcomes across any premise through high-quality data, continuously updated security content, and flexible deployment options.
