LumiQ, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of a technology-enabled education platform, received credit facilities from CIBC Innovation Banking.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO Michael Kravshik, LumiQ is a provider of a podcast platform where engaging conversations with business leaders count as accredited learning for designated accounting and finance professionals. Course instructors include business leaders from companies such as Nike, Yahoo!, Google, and Microsoft; along with NYT best-selling authors and industry thought-leaders.
Founded in 2016, the company works with over 1,000 corporate and accounting firms across North America.
