Noetica AI, a NYC-based provider of an AI-powered software platform for benchmarking deal terms, raised $22M in Series A funding

The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Thompson Reuters Ventures, Bling Capital, Flybridge Capital, Company Ventures, and TheLegalTech Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its platform and grow its customer base.

Led by CEO Dan Wertman, Noetica is a provider of an AI-powered software platform for benchmarking deal terms, with a focus on corporate debt, M&A, and securities transactions. Using a series of proprietary ML models, Noetica has amassed knowledge graph of terms data across public and private markets allowing deal professionals to utilize AI to quickly determine market terms for public and private deals.

Over the past year alone, the platform has been used to benchmark terms in over $350 billion of capital markets transactions, with professionals utilizing its proprietary database of more than 100 million aggregated, analyzed, and indexed terms nearly daily. In less than a year and a half since launch, the company has become one of the most relied on data sources for deal data across the market, including working with 10 of the top 25 law firms, among others.
