Pluvion (fka Grimm Water Solutions), a Freiburg, Germay-based watertech company, raised €1M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by D11Z with participation from BW Seed Fund, managed by MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg, and kopa Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, its business reach, and development efforts.
Led by CEO Phillip Grimm, Pluvion leverages B2B2B & SaaS technologies and advanced artificial intelligence methods to enhance the supply security and resilience of municipalities, water utilities, and industrial companies, empowering them to tackle the challenges posed by climate change, the energy transition, and demographic shifts.
Their first product, WATER+, is an AI-powered solution designed to support sewer network operators in detecting, locating, and predicting extraneous water in sewer networks.
