The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its R&D efforts.
Led by co-CEOs Konrad Włodarczyk and Bartłomiej Roszkowski, Proteine Resources is a sustainable and autonomous producer of insect protein. The company has developed a scalable production technology and an operational pilot line, planning to launch construction of its first factory in 2025 near sources of insect feed.
Proteine Resources leverages 25 years of experience in rearing and breeding insects, bringing together the knowledge from fields of entomology, zootechnics and biotechnology. Working with global companies in the field of automation and industrial robotics, it has created a project of autonomous and fully scalable factories, ready to be implemented anywhere on Earth. Innovations also include patented multispectral analysis technology, allowing real-time monitoring of insect health and quality. This level of automation enables large-scale breeding while ensuring consistent product quality and enhancing efficiency.
By 2030, Proteine Resources targets €62M in annual sales and expects its first revenues in 2026. To meet demand, the company is already securing pre-orders for its products, allowing it to operate with 80% of its production capacity reserved for customers, leaving the remaining 20% as a buffer.
