Quartr, a Stockholm, Sweden-based software and data provider improving qualitative public market research for finance and investor relations (IR) professionals, raised $6M in funding.
The round was led by Altos Ventures, which will take a seat on Quartr’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO Oscar Küntzel, Quartr provides over 18 million end users around the world with access to first-party information from over 10,000 public companies. It offers a free mobile app and an API solution, enabling third parties to build custom solutions based on its data, including live earnings calls and other essential IR material. Its flagship product, Quartr Pro, is a desktop research platform helping hedge funds, asset managers, and equity research departments globally, as well as the IR and corporate strategy teams of Fortune 500 companies.
