Rippl, a Seattle, WA-based company which specializes in virtual dementia care, raised $23M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Tina Hoang-To, Kin Ventures Founding General Partner, with participation from ARCH Venture Partners, General Catalyst, GV (Google Ventures), F-Prime, Mass General Brigham Ventures, 1843 Capital and JSL Health.
The company intends to use the funds to:
- expand geographic footprint
- introduce new payment models, particularly value-based, partnering with Medicare Advantage Plans, ACOs and other payors and payviders
- tech enablement.
Led by Kris Engskov, Co-founder and CEO, Rippl is a virtual healthcare company to reduce difficulties that accompany the dementia journey because for seniors. In April, the company acquired Kinto, an AI-enabled dementia caregiver support platform, integrating both the talented Kinto team and their research-backed technology. Rippl is positioned to accelerate adoption of technology advancements and AI tools to enhance patient and caregiver support, further powering scalability.
