Spark Systems, a Singapore-based provider of an eFX trading platform, received an investment from ATFX.
The amount on the deal was not disclosed. ATFX is entering into this partnership with Spark Systems via a Series C investment. Investors aslo include venture capital firms and global banks such as Citibank and HSBC.
The partnerships will create opportunities to leverage ATFX Connect liquidity within the platform, enhancing its trading infrastructure.
Founded in 2016 by CEO Joo Seng Wong, Spark Systems has developed eFX trading platforms to support both buy-side and sell-side clients. It is connected with all global top 20 FX liquidity providers and eFX non-bank hedge funds as well as major primary markets/ECNs.
The company already serves banks in Asia.
Spark has to date received investments from Citibank, HSBC, Philips Venture, Vickers Venture, Integra Ventures, FengHe, Jubilee CM, Farquhar Venture Capital, 5X Capital, OSK etc.
