SuppCo, a New York based startup that helps people find health supplements, manage routines, and track health, reportedly raised $5.5m in seed funding.
The round was co-led by Union Square Ventures and True Ventures, with participation from Box Group and Compound.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, its development efforts, and business reach.
Led by founder Steve Martocci, SuppCo works as a supplement companion app for people to get enhanced health results via its analysis algorithm, and to get free personalized rating and precise tips to reach their health goals from its supplement data model. Users can also research the highest quality products in each nutrient category, find the right one for them by comparing SuppCo data including TrustScore, price per serving, user popularity and more.
