Coopah, a London, UK-based provider of a run coaching app, raised £1.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Redrice Ventures and Active Partners, with participation from Amrock Ventures and Tom Singh, as well as pro athlete investor Alistair Brownlee MBE and athletics agent Ricky Simms, while London Marathon Events has doubled down on an initial investment into Coopah in 2023 by investing further.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth, scale its marketing efforts and continue to invest into its core product.

Led by Pete Cooper, and Dan Strang, Coopah provides a run coaching app that offers personalised training plans, real-time AI powered workout feedback and motivational support to help runners reach their next race start line in the shape of their lives.

It is available in the App Store and Google Play. A Coopah subscription costs £79.99
annually or £14.99 per month.

Along with the fundraise, the company is also announcing that former Strava executive Gareth Nettleton, who previously served as a board member at Coopah, has now joined as Chief Marketing Officer.
