Mews, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based hospitality cloud company, acquired Quotelo, a Lyon, France-based hospitality company improving event quotation, booking and management.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Mews will expand its offerings.
Led by CEO Tristan Gibausset, Quotelo provides a customer-centric event management solution whose main capabilities include:
- Intuitive and streamlined booking engine dedicated to MICE and Groups.
- Digitalized and automated quotations.
- Orchestrating bookings from hours to months.
- Room and event space planning visible to all staff members.
- Digital function sheets for event execution.
The solution supports independent hotels and resorts, as well as major hotel brands, to increase their revenue for groups and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions).
Led by CEO Matt Welle, Mews provides the Mews Hospitality Cloud, which is designed to streamline operations for modern hoteliers, transform the guest experience and create more profitable businesses. It currently emowers over 5,500 customers across more than 85 countries. Customers include BWH Hotels, Strawberry, The Social Hub and Airelles Collection.
The company has raised $335m from investors including Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Kinnevik and Revaia to transform hospitality.
