Modofi, an Amsterdam, the Netherlands-based provider of a platform in B2B Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions, received a strategic investment from SMBC Asia Rising Fund.
Other investors included existing investors Maersk, IntesaSanPaolo, Heliad and other global investors.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion, particularly in high-growth markets like China and India.
