Ooodles, a London, UK-based provider of an IT procurement platform for businesses, raised $2.5M in extension funding.
Backers included āltitude VC, with participation from existing investors and Traditum.
The company intends to use the funds to double down on its AI-powered proprietary tech, Ooodles OS, while the international expansion will open its on-demand IT plans to over 309,000+ Irish SMEs for the first time.
Founded by CEO Leonardo Poggiali and CTO Kannan Reghu, Ooodles is a FCA-regulated fintech offering SMEs Device-as-a-Service leases for IT hardware. Launched in 2021, its circular platform and AI-powered proprietary tech platform, Ooodles OS, ensures device longevity and recycling through a reuse-recycle model, providing Pay-As-You-Go plans that transform how businesses access tech.
From a single platform, SMEs can then sort everything from credit approvals to inventory management and upgrades with full transparency. Ooodles removes repair and end-of-life hassles and uses AI to help SMEs build fleets of devices that best meet their needs. By only paying for the tech they need, when they need it, while sustainably getting rid of what they don’t, SMEs save money and free up cash flow. They can be more agile in response to changes and demands. It keeps teams motivated and at the forefront of security, removes the burden of accounting for devices, and feeds into global efforts to reduce e-waste.
