The Nursing Beat, a Los Angeles, CA-based digital media platform that produces a daily digital newsletter designed for nurses, received an investment from Nurse Capital as part of its seed round of funding.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded in 2019 by two ER nurses—Tamara AL-Yassin, MBA, RN and Hannah W. Berns, MHI, RN, The Nursing Beat delivers a subscription-based newsletter that provides a summary of the day’s most important news and information that impact nurses, and includes valuable resources on the topics they care most about.
