Virtue Drinks, a London, UK-based clean energy drink provider, raised £2M in funding.

Backers included James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog, Eberechi Eze, Premier League footballer and England international, bringing the total funding to over £5M.

The company intends to use the funds to support strategic marketing, global distribution, and hiring efforts.

Led by CEO and Founder Rahi Daneshmand, Virtue is a clean energy drink company that offers consumers a 100% organic energy source with yerba mate and provides 80mg of natural caffeine per can. Made using all natural ingredients, it includes zero sugar, zero calories and nothing artificial. Its products are svailable in three flavours, Tropical, Peach and Raspberry and Strawberry and Lime.

Certified Carbon Neutral and vegan, Virtue is sold in 20 countries globally, including UK and international stockists such as Waitrose, Whole Foods Market, Ocado, Morrisons, Motor Fuel Group, Casino, Carrefour, and Spinneys.
