The round was led by Ivy Ventures, with participation from Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, CEO of Netcore, Jebbit founders, and other e-commerce investors.
The company intends to use the funds to support onboarding a waitlist of more than 500 companies to its platform.
Led by CEO Regan Plekenpol and Sarah Ganzenmuller, rediem provides a customizable brand loyalty and customer engagement platform that enables brands to build genuine community and catalyze impact by rewarding not only transactions but also experiential challenges and actions inspired by brand values. Amplifying an omnichannel marketer’s toolkit, the dynamic platform complements ongoing campaigns; an athletic apparel brand could launch a New Year 5K fitness challenge, a beauty brand could inspire fans to sign a petition advocating for ingredient transparency, or a food retailer could reward customers for sharing user-generated content (UGC) showcasing their culinary masterpieces. It is currently invite-only, onboarding 500+ waitlisted brands to its customer rolodex of household names including Sun Bum, Tru Earth, and Reel.
