Truss, a London, UK-based resale fashion tech startup, received a £300k investment from FIGR Ventures.
The investment also gave FIGR a Board Observer seat, enabling the family office fund to provide strategic advice and hands-on support to the company.
Founded by Woody Lello (CEO), Felix Jackson (COO), Jack Cardwell (CIO) and Connor Mattinson (CTO), Truss (registered as Kelp Technologies) collects and shares information about fashion’s past providing detailed product information to streamline fashion resale.
The system creates millions of product profiles which contain detailed information about any product. Using a photo, businesses can tap into this information to list products efficiently, enhance searchability and improve conversion rates.
With the new £300,000 investment from FIGR, Truss secured critical match-funding to activate a £1.1m Innovate UK grant. The startup had previously raised £345k in a pre-seed round led by SFC Capital, alongside angel investors.
