Vooma, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI platform designed for freight brokers and carriers of all sizes, raised over $16M in Seed and Series A funding.
The amount consisted of $13M in Series A funding led by Craft Ventures and $3.6M in seed round led by Index Ventures with participation from angel investors including founders and executives from companies such as Motive, Project44, Ryder and Uber Freight.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in its go-to-market and customer success to support demand for products powered by Vooma Agents:
- Vooma Quote, which identifies quotes, drafts email responses and determines whether opportunities were won or lost.
- Vooma Build, a data-entry assistant for load building that completes the tedious order entry process within seconds, enabling teams to save up to 10 minutes on each load build.
- Vooma Voice, the company’s newest product launch, which can make and receive calls for brokers and carriers to streamline tasks such as inbound load bookings, appointment scheduling and carrier check calls.
Founded by Jesse Buckingham and Mike Carter, Vooma provides an AI platform that empowers logistics companies to scale their operations by reducing time spent on tedious and manual work and creating space to solve real logistical challenges, while also investing in relationships that are critical to success. The company has built Vooma Agents, a multi-channel AI platform for logistics.
Agents built on its platform can operate across email, text and voice channels, allowing for automation in workflows that were previously unaddressable by existing systems.
