Buk, a Santiago, Chile-based human resources software provider, raised a new Series B round of US$50M for a valuation of approximately US$850M.
The round was led by Headline, with participation from Workday, Endeavor Catalyst and current investors, Greenoaks and Base10.
The company intends to use the funds to:
- launch of the operation in Brazil.
- double its marketing and sales efforts in Mexico.
- strengthen its benefits ecosystem, generating value for the end users of its platform through insurance, food vouchers, financial services, among others.
- continue investing in R&D.
Buk provides a platform for people management that automates administrative tasks, enhancing the development of employees and facilitate their access to benefits that they really value.
The company currently has operations in Chile and Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Brazi impacting more than 1.5 million users in 7,000 companies.
