Petra Capital Partners, a Nashville, TN-based private equity firm, has completed fundraising on Petra Growth Fund V, with $270M of capital available to invest.
Consistent with prior funds, PGF V will target healthcare, business, and technology-enabled services companies and is structured as a small business investment company (SBIC) licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The firm will continue to expand its investment team and is currently recruiting qualified candidates for Associate level positions.
Led by Doug Owen, and David Fitzgerald, Petra Capital Partners is a private equity firm engaged in providing growth capital for companies located throughout the United States. Its investment team has an established track record of success spanning over 25 years and deploying more than $900M of capital invested into more than 100 companies.
With the raising of the new fund, Petra also announced:
- The first platform investment in a primary market research and analytics firm serving the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer industries.
- Matt Sotelo has been promoted to Partner.
