Prophecy, a San Diego, CA-based data copilot company, raised $47M in Series B extension funding.
The round was led by Smith Point Capital with participation from with HSBC joining as a new investor and existing investors including Berkeley SkyDeck, DallasVC, Insight Partners, JPMorgan Chase and SignalFire.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Raj Bains, Prophecy is a data copilot company aiming to accelerate AI and analytics by delivering data that is clean, trusted and timely. It enables all data users and makes them productive by helping develop, deploy and observe data pipelines on cloud data platforms.
Organizations use Prophecy for demanding workloads, including data pipelines that deliver massive volumes of data for AI and analytics. To date, the company has helped companies migrate complex production pipelines from tools including Ab Initio, Alteryx, DataStage, Informatica and more.
