Qolab Raises Over $16.0M in Series A Financing

Qolab, Inc., a Madison, Wis.-based leader in superconducting quantum computing, raised over $16.0m to date in its Series A financing round.

The round was led by Octave Ventures with co-investment from the Development Bank of Japan Inc. (DBJ), Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), and Phoenix Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its team of quantum scientists and engineers, accelerate development cycles, scale its superconducting quantum processors, deepen its semiconductor partnerships to bring scalable quantum computing technology to market.

Led by Alan Ho, CEO, and Dr. John Martinis, CTO, and Dr. Robert McDermott, Head of Hardware, Qolab is a quantum computing company dedicated to developing utility-scale superconducting quantum computers. By leveraging semiconductor fabrication tools and processes, proprietary qubit designs, and innovative scaling techniques, Qolab combines a physics-driven approach with a focus on qubit quality and practical hardware solutions.
