Cotiviti, a Sal Lake City, UT-based company which specializes in data-driven healthcare solutions, acquired Edifecs, a Bellevue, WA-based healthcare data interoperability company.
The amount of the deal – still subject to customary regulatory approvals prior to closing – was not disclosed.
The combined platform will enhance connectivity between payers and providers, enable increased collaboration in the delivery of care, and accelerate deployment of value-added solutions in the healthcare system.
Led by CEO Venkat Kavarthapu, Edifecs provides technology to its payer and health system customers, which serve nearly 300 million people in the U.S. healthcare market. It has enabled customers to generate value with their healthcare operations solutions and data management platform, which includes its healthcare interoperability cloud solution.
Edifecs healthcare SaaS solutions are available on both public, private, and hybrid clouds.
