Esperto Medical, an Irvine, CA-based healthtech startup specializing in critical care and remote patient monitoring, raised an undisclosed amount in Series A Funding.
The round was led by Catalyst Health Ventures and Bold Capital Partners, with participation from Wavemaker Three-sixty Health, Free Flow Ventures, Fund@Caltech and Maverick Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to support productization and clinical testing of its new Resonance Sonomanometry™ (RSM) technology.
Led by CEO Aditya Rajagopal and CTO Alaina Rajagopal, Esperto Medical is dedicated to delivering healthcare by creating a noninvasive diagnostic technologies, aiming to free clinicians and patients from the limitations of outdated technology. The funds will support productization and clinical testing of Esperto’s new Resonance Sonomanometry™ (RSM) technology. RSM uses sound waves at different frequencies to directly measure blood pressure within arteries, avoiding the variability of other approaches – and requires no calibration, making it easy to set up and use.
