Safe Intelligence, a London, UK-based provider of deep validation artificial intelligence (AI) systems, raised £4.15M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners, with participation from new investor OTB Ventures and existing investor Vsquared Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded by CTO Alessio Lomuscio, and led by newly appointed CEO Steven Willmott, Safe Intelligence is an Imperial College London spin-off company that offers deep validation of machine learning models based on formal verification and robustification in a way that scales. The solution allows users to detect fragilities that could cause critical failures at run time, then applies “robustification” processes to smooth outflaws, making models resilient in real-world deployments.
Solutions are available across a range of domains including finance, aviation, mobility, and robotics.
