Cardiac Dimensions Raises $53M in Series E Financing

Cardiac Dimensions, a Kirkland, WA-based company which specializes in minimally invasive treatments for heart failure and functional mitral regurgitation (FMR), raised $53M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Ally Bridge Group, with participation from Claret Capital Partners, Cardiac Dimensions investors Hostplus, M.H. Carnegie, Horizon 3 Healthcare, Lumira Ventures, and a confidential strategic investor.

The company intends to use the funds to fund for the completion of the EMPOWER Trial U.S. pivotal study and support the continued commercialization of the innovative Carillon Mitral Contour System®.

Led by CEO and President Rick Wypych, Cardiac Dimensions develops minimally invasive treatment modalities to address heart failure and associated cardiovascular conditions. Its flagship technology, the Carillon Mitral Contour System®, is designed to address functional mitral regurgitation (FMR) using a catheter-based approach.

The company has operations in Kirkland, Washington, Sydney, Australia and Frankfurt, Germany.
