Crossmint, a NYC-based provider of a platform for companies building onchain, raised $23.6M in funding.
The round was led by Ribbit Capital, with participation from Franklin Templeton, Nyca, First Round, and Lightspeed Faction.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Co-founded by Alfonso Gomez-Jordan and Rodri Fernandez, Crossmint is a platform for companies building onchain. Their suite of products includes wallets-as-a-service, which companies can embed on their sites or apps, tokenization, payments, onchain credentials, and other essential building blocks for agents to securely hold funds, trade assets, and purchase goods and services. It supports 40+ different blockchains and is used by 40,000+ enterprises and developers, including major enterprises like Red Bull and Adidas.
To further support AI adoption onchain, Crossmint maintains GOAT SDK, an open-source library for AI agents interacting with blockchain protocols, with 150,000 downloads in the past two months.
