Lumata Health, the Oklahoma City based leader in personalized support for patients with vision-threatening chronic eye diseases, raised $23m in Series B funding.

The round, which brought its total raised since inception to $36m, was co-led by LRVHealth, McKesson Ventures, and Cencora Ventures, with participation from existing investors including Cortado Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and enhance the data-driven technology powering its patient adherence solutions.

Founded in 2017 by Dr. Stephen Fransen, an ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience, and led by Landon Grace, CEO, Lumata Health is powered by hundreds of certified ophthalmic care coaches, data scientists, and healthcare executives dedicated to ending preventable blindness. Through a human-led, technology-driven care management platform, Lumata partners with physicians, payers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide tailored interventions that improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction while generating additional revenue and reducing downstream healthcare costs.
