Reactwise, a London, UK-based company developing software solutions for chemical reactions, raised £2.6M in pre-seed funding.
The round was backed by Y Combinator, the UK government, and other venture capitalists and angel investors and included a competitive Innovate UK grant.
Led by Alexander Pomberger, CEO, and Daniel Wigh, CTO, ReactWise offers a software solution to optimize chemical reactions. Its interface allows to employ machine learning-based modelling to predict and identify better reaction conditions.
Since completing Y Combinator’s summer 2024 batch, Reactwise is currently running 12 pilot studies with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies. Moreover, in their robotic laboratory they have already screened thousands of chemical reactions to build up their proprietary reactivity models.
