TCab Tech, a Shanghai, China-based company which specializes in the development of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, raised an undisclosed amount in Series B+ funding.
The round was co-led by Grand Neo Bay Venture Capital and Chiforturne Venture Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to supports its commercialization efforts in the low-altitude economy across Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region.
TCab Tech is a Urban Air Mobility (UAM) company dedicated to creating a reliable air mobility ecosystem offering zero-emission aerial ridesharing to the general public.
The E20 eVTOL, designed for efficiency and safety, boasts features including a maximum speed of 320 km/h and a payload capacity for 1 pilot plus 4 passengers, a tilt-rotor design that combines vertical takeoff capabilities with efficient fixed-wing cruising, an 800V ultra-fast charging system, a six-rotor configuration and Cell-to-Wing (CTW) battery integration. In addition, its low-noise propellers and pure electric solution align with global decarbonization goals.
To date, the company has raised around $100M in total funding.
