Topanga Raises $8M in Series A Funding

Topanga, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of an enterprise technology platform that helps kitchens reduce waste and save more, raised $8m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Blue Bear Capital, with participation from Struck, Amasia and Wonder Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by Page Schult, CEO, Topanga provides a software suite to manage and optimize each step of reusable packaging programs, from fulfillment and tracking to customer experience.

The flagship offering, ReusePass, is a track-and-trace reusables solution for culinary programs with a proven 98%+ return rate across 67+ dining programs in North America. The newest product, StreamLine, is a smart scale with an interface and AI item recognition for production-optimization and food-waste mitigation.
