Uresta, a Shediac, Canada-based developer of a non-invasive solution for bladder leaks, secured $3m in funding.
The funding included $1.5m from BDC Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate U.S. launch and increase awareness of its approach to bladder leakage.
Led by Lauren Barker, CEO, Uresta is a health startup that empowers women to regain confidence and control over stress urinary incontinence (SUI) without surgery or absorbent products. The company has been clinically tested and referenced in a number of global medical journals and is recommended by many pelvic floor physiotherapists and physicians across North America. It is now available for purchase in the U.S. through the site.
