D Capital, a Tokyo, Japan-based lower middle-market private equity firm, closed its second series of funds, D Capital II Series Funds, at approx. $445M.
In serving the Fund II Series, D Capital will reinforce its collaboration with the D Capital expert team, the “DX Guild,” to further enhance the strengthening of management foundations and value creation through the use of data and technology.
The DX Guild is comprised of approximately 40 professionals in the fields of business, data science, and engineering. Leveraging this network, the firm provides hands-on support for the growth of the portfolio companies of the funds it manages, serves and/or advises by integrating insights across industries.
Established in 2021, D Capital is a private equity firm focused on ‘Digital Transformation (DX) x Buyout.’ Its focus allows a deep network of in-house and external digital professionals, offering capabilities in software engineering, data analytics, and business design.
This approach allows D Capital to create advantages for the portfolio companies of the funds it manages, serves and/or advises across differentiated origination channels to post-investment value-add.
