Siemens Digital Industries Software acquired DownStream Technologies, a Marlborough, MA-based provider of manufacturing solutions.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will enhance Siemens’ PCB design portfolio and expand its presence in the electronics small and medium-sized business (SMB) market.
Founded in 2002, DownStream Technologies is a provider of manufacturing solutions for manufacturing data analysis and processing, and documenting PCB designs. Its CAM350 suite of tools enables customers to visualize, verify and automatically prepare PCB design data for fabrication.
Led by CEO Mike Ellow, Siemens Digital Industries Software enables organizations of all sizes to digitally transform using software, hardware and services from the Siemens Xcelerator business platform.
