Druva, a Sunnyvale, CA-based cloud data protection and information management platform, raised $51m in funding.
The round was led by existing investor Sequoia India with participation from new investors Singapore-based EDBI, as well as Blue Cloud Ventures and Hercules Capital and existing investors NTT Finance, Nexus Venture Partners and Tenaya Capital.
The company, which has raised $118m in total funding to date, will use the funds to accelerate both product innovation and to further drive sales and marketing for global adoption.
Led by Jaspreet Singh, founder and CEO, Druva provides a cloud data protection and information management platform offering a unified approach to data protection. With Druva, information is backed up once, and the platform enables advanced management and discovery analytics capabilities. The solution is built natively on public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Druva currently has over 400 employees in USA, and subsidiaries in both Japan and Germany.
