TripAdvisor’s TheFork has made a minority investment in Eatigo, a Bangkok-based online restaurant booking and yield management platform dedicated to Thai and Singapore.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Led by Michael Cluzel, co-founder and CEO, Eatigo provides an online booking platform which offers discounts to users booking via the web site and via the iOS e Android apps.
The company, which also has offices in Singapore, partners with over 700 restaurants.

The investment will allow TheFork to grow in Asia.
Following the deal, Eatigo will continue to operate autonomously. Bertrand Jelensperger, co-founder and CEO of TheFork, will join the company’s board.
