CubeWorks, an Ann Harbor, Michigan, U.S.-based provider of millimeter-scale computing, received an equity investment from Intel Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 as a project of the Michigan Micro Mote (M3) intiative from the University of Michigan, CubeWorks provides CubisensTM, an autonomous wireless sensing platform measuring less than a millimeter to allow multiple units to be combined together to tackle larger monitoring and sensing applications.
Co-founded by David Blaauw, Prabal Dutta, Yoonmyung Lee, Dennis Sylvester and David Wentzloff, the company is led by ZhiYoong Foo, Chief Executive Officer, Gyouho Kim, Chief Technical Officer, and Yejoong Kim, Vice President of Research and Development.
