Mavenlink, an Irvine, Calif-based software platform for modern services organizations, raised $39m in Series D funding.
The round was led by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity. In conjunction with the funding, Mark Midle of Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, has joined Mavenlink’s board of directors.
The company, which has raised $84m to date, intends to use the funds to continue for its additional expansion in Europe and other global locations while growing its current San Francisco engineering and product headquarters.
Led by Ray Grainger, CEO and co-founder, Mavenlink provides an enterprise-class Software as a Service (SaaS) technology solution that unifies all essential functions of services organizations, allowing them to plan and deliver work, manage project financials and resources, and collaborate with distributed teams and clients.
The client base includes progressive companies like Genpact, Salesforce.com, Cornerstone OnDemand, and Buzzfeed, as well as thousands of other consulting firms, IT services organizations, creative agencies, and professional services teams around the globe.
