Norwest Equity Partners, a Minneapolis, MN-based middle market equity investment firm, has announced four staff promotions.
Taylor Moore has been promoted to Principal from Director.
Prior to joining NEP, Moore worked as an investment banking associate in the consumer group at Piper Jaffray, where he was involved in a wide range of investment banking assignments, including M&A, public offerings and private financings. He also worked as an analyst in the private equity group at Morgan Keegan & Co. His current NEP board memberships include Actagro, Bowtech, Edge Fitness, and Movati Athletic.
Jason Sondell has been promoted to Principal from Director.
Prior to joining NEP, Sondell worked at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in their global industrial & services group where he participated in the origination and day-to-day execution of various investment banking transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, public equity and debt financings, and private placements. Prior to CSFB, he worked at the Prudential Capital Group focusing on the origination, structuring, and underwriting of private debt, mezzanine, and equity investments. His current NEP board memberships include Apothecary Products and eyebobs.
Emma Gergen has been promoted to Director from Senior Associate.
Prior to joining NEP, Gergen worked at Biomedix Vascular Solutions, a medical device and software company where she was a manager in finance & business development. Prior to Biomedix, She worked as a senior investment banking analyst at Triple Tree where she worked predominately on healthcare transactions and was engaged in all aspects of the deal process. Gergen also obtained her CPA while working at Deloitte & Touche. Her current NEP board memberships include Bix Produce.
Brandon Ressler has been promoted to Assistant Controller from Senior Accountant.
Prior to joining NEP, Ressler worked at Tennant Company as a senior financial analyst. His responsibilities included performing various types of financial and operational analysis and reporting in support of the global distribution, manufacturing, and procurement groups. He also worked in the audit and assurance function at Deloitte & Touche serving clients within public, private, and non-profit organizations.
