Venture capital firm 500 Startups is teaming up with General Motors to launch a seed program focused on growing transportation solutions that enhance customers’ lives.
Starting January 23rd, as part of 500 Startups Batch 20’s Seed Program, the first class of the partnership will include VC funding, exposure to corporate infrastructure, demo day, mentorship from GM, plus the opportunity of possible follow-on funding from GM. 500 Startups is selecting 5 companies for the GM specialized track, with two openings left for team focused on Mobility services, Machine learning, Virtual Reality, Robotics and Additive manufacturing
The deadline to apply is December 31st.
The GM partnership will also continue for Batch 21 which will start in April of 2017.
