Nomo Ventures, a San Francisco, CA-based early stage venture capital firm, has launched with the raise of its maiden fund.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, NOMO Ventures GP, LLC, is seeking to raise $25m.
The new firm is led by Rahul Prakash, a 3x entrepreneur turned investor at Coyote Ridge Ventures, and Kate Rohacz (partner at Coyote Ridge Ventures).
Prakash’s most recent company, MyEnergy, was sold to Nest prior to Google’s $3.2B acquisition. In 2013, he founded Coyote Ridge Ventures whose Fund I invested in 20 early stage technology companies including Chariot (acquired by Ford Motor Company), Expensify, inDinero, MeUndies, Spotlight Ticket Management and Spotsetter (acquired by Apple).
