Rhone, a men’s activewear and lifestyle brand, received a private equity investment from L Catterton.
The amount of the investment, which was made from L Catterton’s Growth Fund, was not disclosed.
Founded in 2014 and led by Nate Checketts, CEO, Rhone offers a full line of style-driven men’s activewear made from innovative fabrics. The company’s materials, which are sourced from around the world, create clothing with extremely comfortable fits and performance characteristics, including anti-odor and anti-microbial properties.
Rhone recently launched GoldFusion, proprietary new technology that infuses gold particles into the brand’s fabrics, resulting, according to a note, in garments softer, safer, faster-drying, longer-lasting and odor-neutralizing.
Currently, Rhone is sold online at www.Rhone.com as well as in all Equinox locations, select REI and Bloomingdale’s locations, Peloton Studios, and close to 150 specialty stores and gyms.
