BestMile, a San Francisco, CA, Lausanne, Switzerland, and London, UK-based provider of an opitmization platform for autonomous vehicles fleets, raised $2m in funding.
Backers included Partech Venture, Serena Capital and Airbus Venture. In conjunction with the funding, Reza Malekzadeh and Jean-Baptiste Dumont, General Partners at Partech Venture and Serena Capital respectively, are also joining BestMile’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the deployment of its platform internationally and strengthen its technology, sales and marketing resources across Europe and the United States.
Led by Raphael Gindrat, CEO and co-founder, and Zhao Lu, new CTO, BestMile provides a fleet automation platform allowing for the intelligent operation and optimization of autonomous vehicle fleets. Its platform enables autonomous vehicles to work together as a fleet and allows mobility providers to deploy, operate and scale autonomous mobility services.
Customers and partners include PostBus, Local Motors, Trapeze and GoMentum Station.
