Truss Raises $7.7M in Series A Funding

Truss, a Chicago, IL-based Commercial Real Estate (CRE) tech platform, closed a $7.7m Series A funding.

The round was led by Navitas Capital with participation from additional investors Hyde Park Angels with a board seat to Jeffrey Hammes, Chairman of Kirkland & Ellis and a board observer role by Meredith Mendes, COO and Executive Director of Jenner & Block.
The PrivateBank is providing venture debt financing for the transaction.

The company, which has has raised over $9m in total capital, will use the funds for additional market expansion, product development and improving the customer experience using Matterport’s 3D touring technology.

Led by Tom Smith, Co-Founder, Truss aims to simplify the process of finding and leasing office space via a web and mobile platform that enables businesses to go from search to lease with ease.
