Drivezy, a Bengaluru, Karnataka, India-based carsharing platform, raised $10m in funding.
Backers included Das Capital, Axan Ventures, CrowdWorks IT-Farm, and AnyPay.
The company, which also announced the launch of its Initial Coin Offering (ICO), intends to use the funds to expand into new markets across India and abroad and create rental coins, its own private currency.
Led by Ashwarya Singh, CEO and co-founder, Drivezy is an aggregator service in the business of car rentals. With Drivezy, people can hire cars/bikes for self drive by the hour, day or week and have them delivered to home.
The company is present in various locations in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Mysuru.
