Rallyteam, a San Francisco, CA-based startup delivering an intelligent talent development platform, raised an $8.6m Series A round of financing.
The round was co-led by Norwest Venture Partners and Storm Ventures with participation from Cornerstone OnDemand and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth for its operations and platform.
Led by David Somers, CEO and co-founder, Rallyteam provides a talent development platform that addresses turnover and promotes retention by enabling companies to better understand and utilize their employees by auto-matching them to relevant jobs, projects, tasks and people based on key variables including interests, skills, expertise, location, and availability.
In addition to the funding, the company also secured acceptance into Microsoft’s and Orange Silicon Valley’s accelerator programs.
