StrongBox Data Solutions, a Montreal, Canada-based provider of Cognitive Data Management and Archive solutions, announced that its parent company has completed a US$27m funding round.
This includes US$20m from the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, and additional funding from its controlling shareholder Partner One Capital.
The company will use the funds to accelerate worldwide expansion.
Led by David Cerf, CEO, StrongBox Data Solutions leverages metadata and machine learning to deliver a solution that automates storage and data management across multi-vendor storage environments. In details, it automates many difficult problems related to data protection, migrations, curation, governance and provenance, optimizes storage resources and scales to accommodate the world’s most demanding data environments.
